The forge that comes to your fair

For over 20 years we have been putting on spectacular blacksmithing demonstrations, hand-forging objects right in front of the audience.

For organisers

Why do organisers invite us?

A live attraction all day long – the forge burns from opening to closing time.

Visitors stop at the stall – sparks and the ring of the hammer draw a crowd.

Anyone can talk to the blacksmith and see the craft up close.

Genuine handcraft – no castings, no ready-made goods.

We handle sales of our goods ourselves – the organiser has nothing to arrange.

1 kW of power and a patch of ground are enough – we bring everything else.

What we offer

Four seasons of the blacksmith’s year

Blacksmithing demonstrations

Traditional techniques, with a gas or coke forge. We forge in front of the audience – from a plain bar to a finished object.

Historical fairs

Period costume matched to the era of the event – the demonstration looks just as it did hundreds of years ago.

Christmas markets

A winter stall in a wooden cabin – warm light, fire and hand-forged gifts.

Festivals

A Viking-style summer tent, 3.5 × 3.5 m. Stall, demonstration and sales in one.

About us

A family forge on the road

We are a family business – Agnieszka Hordyniec and Paweł Wróbel. For over twenty years we have travelled across Poland and Europe with our forge, anvil and hammers.

We come alone or as a pair; sometimes our two teenage children join us. The business has been running for years – we have the experience, the equipment and liability insurance.

FAQ

Questions from organisers

How much space do you need?

Our historical tent measures 3.5 × 3.5 m, and the wooden cabins we have are 4 × 3 m and 3 × 3 m. Because of the special nature of our craft, we mostly use our own specially adapted market cabins.

Do you need electricity?

Yes – 1 kW is plenty. We use it to light the stall and to run the forge blower.

Do you work with gas or coke?

Both – we choose the forge to suit the character of the event.

What about safety?

We always have a suitable fire extinguisher with us, and thanks to many years of experience accidents practically never happen.

Are you insured?

Yes, we always have valid liability insurance.

How many people come?

We come alone or as a pair. Occasionally our two teenage children travel with us.

Blacksmithing workshops

Two days at a real forge

For two days you work at a real forge, learning the basics of traditional blacksmithing. Guided by an experienced blacksmith, you forge your own pieces to take home.

Workshops take place in the Kłodzko Valley, in groups of up to 4. Sign up for the interest list – once enough people have signed up, we will get in touch with more details.

We don’t usually run an online shop – we value selling face to face. Call or write to us: we’ll agree the date, place and details.
